KS4 Subjects

At Bassingbourn Village College we recognise that children learn at different rates in different subjects and will demonstrate different strengths. As students move through Key Stage 3 they will be set according to their academic ability or interest in individual subjects. Individual attainment and potential are assessed according to National Curriculum requirements and students' placing in teaching groups are reviewed regularly. At Key Stage 4 students continue to be set according to ability, the exceptions being within the option subjects, PSHE, RE and PE.
