ICT SHORT COURSE

What will I be studying? This is our standard qualification. Those students who choose not to opt for CIDA get one 50 minute period per week in this core ICT course throughout both Years 9 and 10. |
What sort of coursework will I have to do, how will the coursework influence my final mark? Students are required to produce one piece of coursework over the two years this is 60% of the assessment for this course.

What sort of activities will I be doing in class? You will be involved in the design of company logos and colour schemes, letter-headed paper, brochures, web sites, posters, menus and powerpoint presentations and even sound or video advertisements. |

What qualifications will I achieve? Short Course ICT – OCR Specification B |

How will I be assessed? Recent subject materials have included health centre, travel and restaurants. This one piece of work makes up to 60% of the total mark. The remaining 40% will be the examination |

KS3 Curriculum Information
The KS3 Curriculum is currently undergoing review in light of the new government directives. KS3 information will be added as soon as we have undergone our internal review which will start on the training day
