A range of different texts: Fiction and Non Fiction (including media texts). You will be given an Anthology consisting of poetry and prose.

At least 5 written assignments (2 cross over pieces) for English Language and Literature.
Coursework: English Lang 20% Speaking and Listening, 20% Written
Coursework: English Lit. 30%

A range of activities to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

There will be an opportunity to attend the Poetry Live conference in Cambridge to hear the set poets discuss their work.
What sort of homework will I be expected to do?
Two homeworks or an extended homework per week. You will be expected to plan, draft and refine assignments and research a variety of topics.
